tzar1990 9/24/07 . chapter 1 Great story! I particularily enjoy it, and you got the personalities of the characters down well. I also find it interesting how well it matches with the Deathly Hallows canon, despite being written a fair time before it was released. |
TheRomanticNerd 9/13/07 . chapter 1Interesting fic - I was really impressed by it. Love the assassin. DIE MALFOYS! And Fudge :) |
Steven Kodaly 8/29/07 . chapter 1This was very nicely done - Harry actually calls in a professional! |
Throckmorton 8/26/07 . chapter 1wow, I really liked this. I think you have a gift for writing (I've read some of your other stuff too) Thanks for entertaining! |
nefarious vixen 8/9/07 . chapter 1Awesome. Great characterization and response to the challenge. I think what I love most about this SS (short story) is the character's attitude-a real brutal practicality that is replete with witticism but grounded by his own limitations and rules of the 'game.' What I also love about your stories is your attention to detail; neccessarily punctual without being mired by emotional baggage. Also, he 'sounds' a lot like Harry Dresden ;) Great one-shot, am eagerly anticipating the follow-ups to "NoFP" and "Blackwand Chronicles." |
Belle-san 7/31/07 . chapter 1very well done. I enjoyed it. |
Zuzanny 7/17/07 . chapter 1I agree. |
lord jansson 7/5/07 . chapter 1 a good but somewhat strange fic... |
Nefar 6/29/07 . chapter 1 Mwuhahahahahahah! |
Treesah Quiche 6/27/07 . chapter 1If "There's always a way" is the second motto, I'd be very interested in learning what the first one is. I thoroughly enjoyed this oneshot. I liked how you portrayed the war and the aftermath through a very likeable third party observer. I also like how the Marriage Law was dealt with in a realistic manner, ie I'm glad that Ginny didn't suddenly realise that Draco was her ONE TWU WUB. Even though she only played a minor role in this story, I felt that McGonagall's characterisation was spot-on, and I'm afraid that my preconceived biases made her my favourite character despite the wonderful characterisation of "Riley" (I'm assuming that's not his real name) and all the others. |
Vine Verrine 6/25/07 . chapter 1wow... I don't know a lot about HP, coz I've just read til the fourth book, the Saturday I gonna get the fifth, and if I'm lucky maybe the sixth, yeah...you know I love Harry but my papa was really selfish, and I didn't have money, but when you area now a teen, you whined, you beg, you cry, you scream and you get it hahaha, is prety easy, but I understood 99% of what you said in the fic...really cool. I know I should read it sooner, but everything gets slower in Mexico (I'm from there), obviously, as you may see, I speak english too, so I'm reading the books in english, I think Salamander (the person who traslates the book to spanish) is not too good in his job traslating this piece of holy scrpit so I prefer reading the books in english...well I will stop babbling, before I tell you my whole life, I'm sure you will get bored. Oh about the fic...it was really beautifully wrote, really good, you made something up that fits very well the books, it's a shame that Jo doesn't want to keep up whit this wizarding world of hers. I like the way you write, I reading currently Team 8, and I'm really pleased espending time reading your work, my mama says I'm gonna get mad been in the computer a lot of time hahaha... Sorry, still babbling... tfa67 |
Al 6/12/07 . chapter 1 This is one of my all time favorite HP fanfics. After reading so many crappy, unbelievable stories of what the various HP characters put up with, this struck a cord. I loved it. |
The Sleeping Creature 6/4/07 . chapter 1Wow, great story. I love your OC. The line "I never expected that conducting a campaign of organized terrorism to be so morally uplifting." is beyond classic. |
Mohican12 6/2/07 . chapter 1Ha, I love your reaction to this. I loved the line, "who knew organized terrorism could be so uplifting?" I usually avoid the marriage law thing because I'm not a big fan of it and it doesn't seem that interesting to me, but I like this version. Very well-written, totally loved it |
NoneAvailable 5/9/07 . chapter 1Well, you can imagine the excrement striking the rotary oscillator after that lol, man, you're one silly man, but at least you write quite well. |
