Orange Noel 2005-10-15 . chapter 2I'd like to say that is interesting. At first I took it in a more serious sense, but after switching to a more satrical outlook, I found it a lot funnier.
It totally sucks that people were pressuring you into Christianity; I'm Catholic myself but I even know not to push my beliefs onto anyone, because it's incredibly ethnocentric to do so (and ethnocentrism annoys me til no tomorrow!).
One little inacurracy that you probably wouldn't care about (since it's so minor) but Reggie's comment about Texans in chapter one maybe should've been said by another character, cause Reggie was born there (something I read in an Archie comic). |
Ms. Kinnikufan 2005-10-15 . chapter 2If I were Nerissa, I'd get a good lawyer and files charges for harrasment...

prplmnky 2005-10-14 . chapter 2 this is brilliant. very hilarious and subversive just the sort of twisted thing archie needed. thank you. it has to be one of the funniest takes i've read yet. i actually quite liked the spire comics still this take on them is hilarious please update soon. |
brinbeck 2005-10-14 . chapter 1 So this is making fun of the archie christian series no? I like Archie comics and I've been curious about the christian series though I never had a chance to read any of them. But if the gang really are as pushy and obnoxious as this I'll avoid them instead. A very well written story, love the humor, Nerissa's frustration comes across nicely. One little niggle, I don't think not believeing in Jesus would be the cornerstone of the Jewish faith as it predates Christianity by several thousand years... he simply wouldn't be that important. Beyond that this is an excellent piece of work. Well done. |
