This was really cute. I never thought anyone could make a rutabaga sound yummy. Can you send me the recipe?

Who came up with the idea of a rutabaga, anyway? It's a bit strange, but interesting. :)

The mighty rutabaga rules! :D

Sorry for the delay in reviewing but the room was finally cleared late yesterday and I only just got my chair and computer back.

I love this story. Wonderful dialogue and very in-character. And you *know* I want the recipe. ;)

This is a perfect vignette for an autumn day. Comfortable and fun. Thank you for posting it.

Cheers!

That was kinda cute. Mind you, I normally put rutabagas (Swedes to the Aussies ;)) in stew.

Sweet little story. Loved the way it was Max who said "We must be in a recovery". Also I loved her complete inability to cook, reminded me of the pasta tricolore moment when she offered to boil the water! So S1

Good thing I've already eaten, or this would be making me hungry. :) The thought of Logan's car getting dinged by a root vegetable, and him retrieving said projectile for dinner, is funny--as is Max's slave-driver line. What color is a rutabaga's skin? You mentioned the color of the inside, but not the outside. I'll have to pay more attention the next time I'm in the produce section of the grocery store.

WOW! Awesome. I love it when someone else throws in actual facts. Not that I am a harsh critic when it comes to ML, but this was really good. Cute! Well written!

About that gathering?

Logan to the rescue of orphaned vegetables:-) Great!
This recipe sounds interesting. I know what parsnip and turnip are, but I can’t find a German translation for rutabaga. Although I found a picture. Really ugly!
