A wonderful romp with the lack of sleep. I too have been there with the multiple-days-without-sleep and I was so feeling for John (you too when I read about your grad work note). The ending was so priceless I about wrote 'the end was worth it', but that made it sound as if the whole story wasn't and it was. Thank you for writing it!
