Anyway, you know I adore your writing, and that I adore this story in particular- it's so original! No one else has really done a "what's up with the Witch, anyway?" type story. Please keep up the good work!

Yay! I'm so glad you came back to This is absolutely amazing so far. You're so good with details. I love how you weave Howl's backstory into this chapter, along with Tam Lin, and Fire and Hemlock. And you build suspense just like DWJ ... you've left so many things hanging in the air that I want you to fill in on ... like Lillith, and how Tam Lin ties into Howl's predicament with the Witch of the Waste, and the rest of the Witch of the Waste's backstory that you've sort of hinted at. Ahh! It's so good it's driving me insane!

Anyway, don't worry about slow updates. If it takes you ten years to finish this story, I'll still want to see the rest of it. :)

Now, in regards to your fic, I thought that this was a very interesting take on a much maligned but terribly interesting character. I wonder though, why her fire demon is submissive to her, when in the books, it was pretty clearly stated that the demon had taken control long ago. Great job, though! I can't wait for more from you!
