Blonde-Existentialist 6/10/11 . chapter 1I like this, because honestly its believable, cause no one can be childish and petty forever (for the most part). |
ReaderJane 9/16/09 . chapter 1I liked this very much. Nice to see both of them mending bridges and being mature when they need to, to help their friends who are hurting. |
Dudly 2/2/09 . chapter 1Buy your way back into Cordelia's good books by buying clothes. I liked how you showed their emotions about Buffy, Cordy, Joyce and Anya.
The Xander/Anya had a lightness to it, like the briefest brush that makes you smile. Her singing badly and him loving her for it. :)
And then there is the whole Cordy-Angel friendship that gets to be viewed from Xander's point of view. Because obviously Xander would still care for her and would want her to not be lonely.
Hey, look, babbling me!
Anyways. I really liked this- I recall reading it a year ago maybe, and not appreciating as much because I hadn't seen the Angel serie. Now, I can really say how much I liked it. n_n

Malady7 8/25/07 . chapter 1Me encanta! You're Angel & Xander voices were spot on, and it's nice to hear them get along for a change... :) And I love Xander giving advice to Angel about cordelia. Great work! |
Metropolis-Rising 9/10/04 . chapter 1I genuinely enjoy seeing Mature Xander. He was and is our everyman, our anchor of humanity in the Jossverse. For far to long the writers amde him do "bad thinngs" as he was growing up. Disjointed and illogical (at best) it was hard watching Xander Harris be the "bitch". This fic shows just how deep the character can be. Insightful and witty, Xander and Angel SHOULD have had a better relationship. They actually have quite alot in common, 4 maybe 5 minutes out of the day. Of course invoking one of the greatest Cordy/Angel moments ever (New clothes! New clothes!) never hurts. Thanks. |
 MBB 5/17/04 . chapter 1LOL |
Taynna 2/29/04 . chapter 1this is a great view of both xander and angel - really excellent characterization. it also hit upon a good point - when you don't see someone, you're view of them gets sort of frozen in time, you assume that they'll be that person until you're faced with the reality that they've changed over time, too |
 Leanne8582 7/8/03 . chapter 1Great job. I'm adding it to my fav's list.
Parts I loved the most-
1. How you wrote Xander's illease about calling Angel and asking him to come. Very in character and very important. I liked how it showed Xander putting aside his own feeling to do what was best for Buffy.
2. Xander's feelings about Riley leaving.
3. Angel's line about buying Cordy a new wardrobe since he does that in "Disharmony." Just mentioning it brought back the memory of Cordy jumping up and down with joy. "Angel bought me clothes!" I'm laughing just picturing it.
Thanks for the fic. |
Jennifer-Phoenix 5/9/03 . chapter 1Okay so it's been forever since you wrote this but still I really liked it. Very characteristic like and did I mention it's really good.

vesu 2/27/03 . chapter 1 Great explanation on how Angel found out about Joyce. |
Rakel 10/25/02 . chapter 1aw! that was sooo good!
Xander and Angel having a civilised conversation. :D I loved Angel asking xander how toget out of the dog hosue with Cordy. (that scene in the Prom is the greatest ever, with xander getting the dress for her, and it's nice to see it brought up.)
Love your work

Settiai 7/18/02 . chapter 1I can just see this happening on the show... *claps* You did a great job. |
Jane McCartney 5/31/02 . chapter 1Heh! Cute piece. Well, there *is* Joyce's death and that wasn't cute at all, but Angel asking Xander his advice was really funny. |
 jennnifus 5/22/02 . chapter 1Wow. This was GREAT. |
willowwood 4/11/02 . chapter 1Just one word- WOW -Brilliant Angel and Xander interaction and i love the way you've tied it in with the shows storylines. |
