oohh, filipina/filipino ka din? cool. hehehe...this chapter is so melancholic in a way that made me feel good, in an odd sort of way. sakura finally let go of sasuke. about time. and as always, naruto was there to help her and cheer her up and make her feel that it's the most rational decision that she ever did. go naruto! :)

Excellent chapter.

Personally I liked the ending, and still the series of events that hide the draker side of himself from her.

I cannot help but wonder how she will react when she learns of the truth, the real reason whyhe is so different.

Quite moving, I do agree with you on the ending being very sappy, but I would say that in a way that it fits. No matter how strong the characters become there are some aspects that they are intrinsically in their nature. I see Sakura as someone that wants to believe in romance, true love, and all that is "sappy". The ending scenario would be especially tramatic for her (and Naruto as well) in more than one way, first they had to kill ninja that were younger than themselves. You touched on that, in the way Sakura commented on feeling like the demons that they once fought. Secondly Sakura saw her own childhood in the girl she had to kill, and possible what Sasuke could have been in the boy that didn't seem to mourn the loss of his team.

I am not really a fan of Naruto/Sakura pairings, but every so often I find a story that at least for a short time has me hoping that Sakura finally gets the point that Naruto isn't giving up on her.

Lol, yeah ... the choice of song at the end was rather questionable, and as you said, it was cheezy. But I thought it was funny anyhow. I love how you almost gave a side-story to the characters they killed, it was refreshing to see the corpses as once real people instead of nobodies stuck in there purely for them to kill. I hope you continue writing, Ch.2 or 4 and I'll continue to review.

So, she doesn't know about the thing inside him in this continuity, perhaps that is why he remains clean, because the demon within has already stolen his innocence away, perhaps he was free from death, that is why he doesn't see it in the same way.

Very good story, well written and your writing style appeals to me. It's clean and well cut, and leaves a lot less room of losing track. The characters seem a tad OOC, but understanding their situation I think you portrayed them very well. How all the people acted in this fic seems very well based to the ending. Don't beat yourself up for the ending. It fits just right.

Woah. Really, just...woah. I'm so...so astonished by this one-shot. It's unbelivably deep and ...oh man, I just can't put what I'm feeling into words at all. Not trying to sound sappy or anything like that, but this one-shot was just amazing and beutiful and, though it sounds a little weird to say, breath-taking. It actually made me cry (XD), it was so strong. You portraid the emotions of the characters that well. This story truely touched me. I have not read something this deep and amazing in a very long time and I am so glad, no honored, that I got to read this.
