I'm exceedingly impressed.

I must admit that I was quite dubious when I started the story. It was just a little too crazy and random and (dare I say it) Out of Character for me. Americanising Artemis Fowl (for example, a uniformless school) is the ultimate herasy, as far as I'm concerned.

But wow, by the end, you'd managed to make it work. It seems a little like your plot came up and bit you where you least expected it, halfway through, and from that point it draws to a wonderful action/emotional/humourous climax. Humour's always so much better with a plot and/or an emotional tie to the audience to keep it together - look at the development Terry Pratchet's gone through from his early books, which read a little like a joke book of disparate amusing things, to his later books that are even funnier because you find yourself clinging on every word, desperate to find what happens. And that's what you've managed towards the end of this fic - tying it all together, keeping me totally hooked, and bringing a tear to my eye without actually losing too much of the humour that was keeping the smile on my face all the way through. :)

The ending was absolutely perfect as it was - any more than that would have been unnecessary and would have detracted from the perfect fluffy and, in my opinion. Nicely done. :)

Thanks for writing this! Given how much you've developed as a writer from the beginning to the end of this fic, I'm very keen to see what you do in future!

you are one of the few people who can write a fanfic full of OCs who aren't mary sues. maybe the whole fanfic would have been even better if it wasn't a self insert, but I really liek your writing style and that you managed to keep arty (and the other CCs) almost 100% IC, so I will overlook that :3

Wow, that was fabbity fab. i really did like it. I think that you ended it in just the right place, and a sequal may be nice, although not necessary. Ammusing to think of irish arty being an american girl. Tickles me every time!

Well, I'm not a Foaly/Holly shipper but I certainly liked the take on the end, Naomi/Artemis is muchly cute and I definitely enjoyed the bit where he says he doesn't want to mess things up this time. In fact, I really enjoyed it :) Great job! I'd love to see more, not just plot but fluff fluff fluff! Heart the story!

I just have to say that I loved this story, all of it, but especially the end. Artemis as a normal teenaged boy is a weird, but good idea.
