OK, yeah, so I got to read this last night before you posted...I LOVED IT! The comparison between the oranges and apples and Syd and Sky was hilarious and perfect. *grins* I loved the kiss...made me all gooey inside (like that's anything new with your fics, ne?)

Yeah so, naturally, I'm a dingbat and didn't review the first two chapters of this... I blame my fiction workshop, although my prof might have something to say about that. :)

At any rate, the take on Sky's childhood and insecurities have been really nice - quite different. (I'm waiting for the person that tackles a supposed cannon relationship between him and his mother, but that's beside the point.) It's intriguing that he would walk away from Syd before getting hurt - I'm supposing that's because things were getting too deep for him.

But, overall, these are really sweet and a good look at Sky and what's going on in his brain.

My only tiny nit is that his feelings and motivations seem a little one-dimensional, but, given the piece, that's understandable and not a huge deal!
