| Rachel Smith Cobleigh 2007-01-15 ch 1, | abuseCute, though the explanation for why Sam wasn't there was still a bit weak. More likely she wasn't there because she didn't need to be, and she was setting up shop at Area 51. But you milked it for some SJ angst, so that redeems it a bit. :) Thanks for a fun read. |
| ChappaEyebrow 2006-10-08 ch 1, | abusevery sweet! thanks for writing. |
| magistrate 2006-07-15 ch 1, | abuseAnd I LMAO again. Antarctica really does have it out for SG-1, doesn't it? You have to wonder if maybe in some alternate timeline they killed its father or something. "And you have the luxury of being unconscious for most of that!" •So• true. I wonder why I didn't notice it before. |
| cherryblossomjen 2006-01-17 ch 1, | abuseSo sweet. I would never have thought of that but it *is* a perfect explanation for her not being there. |
| Airam4u 2005-12-21 ch 1, | abuseGreat story! |
| Von 2005-12-15 ch 1, | abuseAH.. this was nice. I was hesitant to read it at first because Atlantis was such an unexpected slap in the face. (I hadn't realised it was 'handing over' the story to a new bunch of people) Dr Weir (who looked much nicer with blonde hair, don't you think?) was a little too fridged (no pun intended) personality-wise for me to relate to her, and the new captain-dude just came off as a kind of 'Captain America, look at my clefted-chin!' type guy. Oh, and who was also trying to usurp Jack as the main man. Too bad he wasn't funny or charismatic enough. I liked the Male scientist, from the old SGC series, but the poor guy couldn't carry the whole show all on his own shoulders... So I'll stick with SG-1, meself. About mid-Season 8. After that, the 'closing of the book' got a little too depressing for me... BUT anyway, back to your story. Very cute, funny and affectionate. I suddenly realised just how many bad things HAD happened in Antartica, and how poor Carter must've felt so stupid and useless after them. Hindsight isn't a fair view.. but it would have been harsh on her. Thanks for writing this! |
| Maggie Eaton 2005-12-04 ch 1, | abuseNice tag! Kate. Loved it. |
| Jessica 2005-11-10 ch 1, anon. | abuseheehee- great fic, as always. I don't know how this one slipped the radar last month, but I never saw it. hm...Anyways, I'm glad that I went back to see your fics- great job! This fic is so sweet, and subtle- just like the characters themselves! Thanks |
| JamSack at ff.net 2005-11-09 ch 1, anon. | abuseAww that was so sweet, i so much love their interactions when you write them! |
| SeedC 2005-11-02 ch 1, | abuseNice. |
| ScienceGeek 2005-10-27 ch 1, | abuseThat was both touching and funny at the same time. Very well written. |
| Colonel Samantha Carter 2005-10-26 ch 1, | abuseI loved it. I always wondered what she felt about Antartica because of what happened everytime she was there. I hope you write more about this. You left out where she was when the Atlantis team left through the Stargate. Where do you think she was at that point? |
| InnerEssence 2005-10-24 ch 1, | abuseloved the story. I know how busy you must be with the kids but i'll be waiting for your next fic. |
