That is really cute, and honestly one of the best gifts to give someone. I know he didn't draw the picture himself, but still. The time it takes to draw something beautiful rather than taking a quick snap shot (granted, they didn't have cameras...or did they? Edgar did have that Flash tool, haha).

I like how you mentioned everyone, even though this focuses on Terra and Locke. ^_^

Again, like your other works, I really enjoy the details you put in your writing, like how Relm is probably old enough to be hearing dirty jokes from her friends and how Gau's writing looks like kiddish block letters.

The sketches were also wonderfully described. I can totally picture them in my head. I really enjoyed reading this one. Great job!

This was sweet, to say the least. I enjoyed it. I've always adored Relm for some reason. I thought it was fitting.

I really like your long canon "Good Enough" and this is such a cute scenic bypass route in the middle of it. I have to admit that Terra kind of got on my nerves in the WoR, but the way you write with her makes me like her a lot - a LOT.

BTW - "were" is correct in that sentence; not to dis the other reviewer, but you're right, it's subjunctive. Writing's a dying art. ;)

I liked hearing how the different characters remembered (or didn't) her birthday. I liked that Setzer got the day wrong, too. :)
The closing feels very genuine: that seeing the sketch makes her happy, but that she's also sort of embarassed that it does.

A few weirdly specific comments:

"I wondered if the sketch of me were really the one he wanted to keep."

I think that should be "was". =P
Other than that, I liked this line, because the use of the word "really" gave me the sense that Terra isn't quite sure if the sketch of her is the one he's keeping, and she's a little afraid to presume that it might be in case that's too much.

I think the part that really stood up and told me "yes, this is about FF6, and not some cheap knock-off" was where Terra sees Relm sketching and nearly has a heart attack, and then Relm's response is so prefectly Relm.

And this one is just too sweet for words. ^_^

This is a great side story from your main fic "Good Enough" and a cute portrayal on Terra's feelings for Locke. I hope you continue the great work.
