But I don't think you really captured her spirit or her adoration of the RumTumTugger. I would be really interested to see this poem again after you've re-worked it a bit and put all you've got into making in the best you can. Re-watch their dances together and listen to her songs. Maybe even bring Macavity into the picture. Bomb's a complex creature with an equally complex, shady/passionate background. Why else could she bring so much emotion to Macavity's song. Even her relationship with Dem's a pretty strong one. As I said, a rewrite with more feeling would be good. |
