I had to reread the story before I finally realized that Yachiru is the new Kenpachi of the eleventh division.

And then I cried inside ;( Every time Yachiru sees that coat, she is going to remember how she got it.

Really pretty piece! The ending in particular really hits home.

That was really interesting and well done. Yachiru's characterization was spot on. The only thing is, I find it hard to believe that any shinigami wouldn't know the names of all the taicho's in Seireitei.

Pretty damn good. Glad I read it. I'd like to see a sequel, but I don't really know where you could go with something like that other than Zaraki's return... ah well, I guess I'll just be satisfied with this.

I think this is one of the true gems of the fandom. Excellent on all accounts; good characterization, good story flow, great plot elements, and fantastic ending.

Very sad and sweet. The thought of Zaraki wandering around randomly killing people and shouting messages at them is hilarious in a dark way. I liked Keisuke- it's easy to sympathise with him. Yachiru is very well characterised, this is how I can imagine her sense of grief and loss. Thank you for posting this
