I think this is one of the true gems of the fandom. Excellent on all accounts; good characterization, good story flow, great plot elements, and fantastic ending.

Very sad and sweet. The thought of Zaraki wandering around randomly killing people and shouting messages at them is hilarious in a dark way. I liked Keisuke- it's easy to sympathise with him. Yachiru is very well characterised, this is how I can imagine her sense of grief and loss. Thank you for posting this ^^

gawd, i wuz feelin' nostalgic.. read this fic almost one and a half years ago? yupp.. suddenly remembered this fic and decided to revisit it.. am hearing it with rja your guardian angel.. cryin' as i'm readin.. damn.. there ain't much zaraki/yachiru fics as awesome as this.. excellent stuff

Oh my god that's the coolest idea ever. I love the idea of Zaraki killing people just to get a message across to Yachiru - I can so imagine him doing that. I really like Keisuke as well, the poor guy.

aw gee...that was really sad. Kinda scary to see how yachiru might turn out if kenpachi ever left her. I totally agree that she'd probably go a little psychopathic. keisuke's character was well done. I really liked the story. It kinda boggles my mind to think of the connections in it. So, yachiru killed kenpachi, kenpachi killed Keisuke. and the anger runs full circle from yachiru to kenpachi for dying and Keisuke to kenpachi for killing him. Complicated. Though, it makes me sad and makes me wonder if kenpachi knows that being a murderer sends you to hell and not soul society. I know it was probably for plot purposes, but its sad to think that yachiru and kenpachi might never meet up again.
