These are very interesting! I never really thought that they wouldn't have paper... but I guess that makes sense, since they don't have trees, and even if they did find one, I don't think they would use it for paper... they would use it for shade! :) I've always wondered how Wolfwood got around that commandment. Nice job!

These are really good: really thoughtful. I've also wondered about paper. I mean, I'm sure I've seen Meryl with some when she's typing reports, but it makes no sense! It's like the salmon... or maybe they make paper out of the same stuff they make the salmon out of... ugh, the mind boggles.
The bit about the Bible being corrupted unfortunately makes a lot of sense. I would have thought that maybe there would have been more of an attempt to keep it intact, but if the Great Fall destroyed all the hard copies... anyway, great writing :)

You do realize, I hope, that you're extremely good at this short-story thing. Knives' dialogue was just spot on perfect(was he in the room when you wote this?),the mysogynist friutcake. Plus, the thought of Legato owning a family restaurant was grimly amusing. Got any more?

Heh, you already know my opinion of these; but I'll reiterate, because I'm nice like that. I really liked the Dominique POV, you got her characterization down well. "Bringing Home the Bacon" was a nice little surprise, as I hadn't expected that someone was going to apply the theme to a major villain. Finally, the one about the Bible -- very ironic that Vash should know more about the Bible than Wolfwood, really. It actually makes a lot of sense, as in the series Wolfwood had no qualms about killing, and maybe that's because he'd never read all of the Bible. I prefer, of course, to think that he did; and that his decision to kill was contrary to his own heart and morals. 'Kay, shutting up now ...

One more thing: you know this is going into my C2, don't you? ^_^
