Teyla's POV is good.
Just a thing, I know John and McKay have the ancient gene, but I'm not sure Teyla and Ford have it. In "the eye", Carson was the only one able to fly the jumper.
Anyway, good job.

It's an interesting look at the tragic choices John and Teyla had to make. I think John would have been tempted to stay anyway, even if Teyla had not made the request, once he saw people culled right in front of him. It was at that point in the episode that he changed from "we have to consider Atlantis at all costs" to "we've got to do something to take these guys down."

One point I don't think John considered, though. Would Teyla have even been able to fly the jumper? (I don't know if it requires the gene at this point, or if anyone can fly it once it's active.) If she were not able to fly it, then John bears even more responsibility to get them safely back to Atlantis. Even if it means abandoning the culling.

This was awesome. I believed that this is what Teyla really felt. Kind of this there were more Sheyla stories with their scenes from Letters from Pegasus. Anyways great job and hope to read more from you.

I love when someone appraoches a story from Teyla's point of view. She is my favorite character and I think you did a great job of delving into her thoughts, specially about Sheppard. I always did wonder what went through her mind when John went out into the culling.

Wow. Well written! I liked it very much. It's nice to read something that goes in depth into Teyla's feelings. She's so calm all the time it's easy to disregard what an effect things like this must have on her!
