If you keep this up I might put you in my "Hall of Even More Awesome Authors". In this story, the one that really caught me was the last two paragraphs. It was there that I started to feel Kitty's sadness.

It's so sad how the Bartimaeus Trilogy ended. But then again, I don't think any other way could have suited it any better. Overall, an awesome job!

Jezunya 2006-01-09 ch 1,	abuseOh gosh... I screamed when I read the end of the book (well, yelled in frustration, anyway), but this made me cry. Poor Kitty. You wrote her perfectly (altho it was a bit disconcerting at first to read it in first person, after three books of 'I' always referring to Bartimaeus). This whole fic has the exact same tone of that one line she mutters at the end, "So much for your promises..." or something like that. I really liked how there was just a slight hint of Nat/Kitty in this, too. Nothing over done, like some many people seem to be doing - they're not declaring their undying love for each other yet or anything, but there was a bond there. Nathaniel finally came full circle and became a truly good person in the end, and Kitty saw that. /Sigh/ They really deserved to have a happy ending together... ;_; Great fic! I can't wait to read more of your writing :')
