Oh, I love the juxtaposition of existing, surviving and living: Kakashi is not living, that would mean feeling things, he is merely existing; he is surviving like his sensei made him promise but not living... how sad!

Ouch. I was confused a little by the first one. I got the emotion, felt it all the way through, but I couldn't see Kakashi looking back at me. Now I can. And it hurts.
