o...I like the little flirtation! Especially when it comes out of the unsuspecting hero's mouth totally unplanned! And I love that Schell has white hair. Im about 40% there myself! LOL

Very charming...totally pulled in now. Gotta find out more about Schell since she is a marine artist! But no mention of Patrick O'Brian and the artists who drews covers for his books?

Ah well...

Poor Schell...I could FEEL how traumatized she was, having been in the hospital under 'sudden' circumstances myself. A Horatio coming in and chatting with me like that would have definitely made me feel better! Good job!

Teej - wanted to say I LOVE how visual your writing is...I could see the action and expressions completely, even though I am not familiar with Horatio's character. I can tell you know something of Seattle, because your descriptions of the bay and the activity has such an authenticity to it.

You're right - I don't know why I stopped reading it, other than I there are two people who seem to be able to *smell* when my attention isnt totally focused on them and so act to correct that fact! And I felt for them trying to ride the waves from the boats.

I also am appreciating how well thought out your writing is, not just in subject matter, but in its grammar and 'voice.' I think thats a real treasure amid the dross of fanfiction out there.

H is my favorite CSI character. He is the reason I prefer Miami over Vegas. Your story is flawless, your portrayal of H is so very like him. This is what I would like to see in the episodes! Or they could use this to launch a CSI Seattle! I know, I'm crazy! Its 1230 am and I'm debating whether or not to go on to part two. Maybe just the first chapter, right? Keep up the good work!!

Wow. Just...wow.

That was right up there with some of the most interesting, and beautifully written stories I've read. And I've read a great many. Your original character in Schell was lovely, strong but very vulnerable. She off-set Horatio wonderfully, and brought out the best in him - detective, protector, and 'man' - all in one.

Brilliant. That is all I can say. I am thrilled that you are continueing this and I'm already off to start on part 2. You really must continue writing for CSI Miami - you are definitly the best author I've seen for this fandom.

Increadible work! ~Alamo Girl

Oh that was perfect! Touching, warm, sympathetic - but he handled his own feelings and wants in a very 'Horatio' manner. He thought about the consequences first...and cared about her.

That is very H.

Brilliant!

Either you know a great deal abou tthe art world, art history and the mechanics of artistry - or you've done a lot of research. Either way, its magnificent as it adds meat to the plot. Very high believability factor in this.

This is a wonderful mystery, and its not every author that can weave a well-plotted mystery into a drama for the CSI fandom. And the budding chemistry and connection between Horatio and Schell is electric and warm. I could see this being in CSI tv-movie.

Awesome! I continue on...

Seriously, I'm loving this! I love the chemistry between Schell and H. Its subtle, which is the BEST kind.

Loved the scene where he brushes the hair from her eyes, then regrets moving his hand.
The tension is there, and we know H has a huge 'damsel in distress' complex. He's a protector...which works great for this plot.

Oh yes, this is brilliant!

Oh wow! You even had Horatio's mannerisms down pat! And that is hard to do with him, with out making him seem awkward or little-boy like.

Its hard to show his tendancies to be shy and non-threatening - without losing the fire that Horation posesses. Bravo!

Oh my. I'm VERY impressed! I haven't been able to find many well-written stories for CSI Miami, or ones that had accurate character descriptions. But this is masterfully written so far! And even in this short chapter, your characterization of Caine is brilliant, perfectly Horatio.

David Caruso isn't one of my faves, but I too gave him a chance with Miami...

I continue on... I'm so glad I chose open this story. Awesome job!
