I really enjoyed your version of Hermione's reaction to a Marriage Law.
Though I do have to say that I actually felt sad for Percy after reading the end.
Poor Percy.
Though obviously, even in your fic, he's not quite a match for her.
Thanks for the story.

Aw poor Percy!
And great take on the Marriage law! There are too many where she is forced to marry Snape and then suffers or whatever for a long time before "falling in love"
I enjoyed this one just as I have enjoyed marriage law fics with Hermoine-Fred (those are funny too!) :D Good work!

Awe, poor Percy... Even though I like the GeorgeXHermione pairing, I kind of feel sorry for him.

HA! I play and write marriage law stuff all the time for pure amusement. The person I play/write with loves Hermione has to marry Snape stuff (don't ask) in our stuff she's always plotting and trying to fight it. The options are just set up against her. Leave the wizarding community or marry. I like your Hermione alot! *Grins* I could totaly see this as cannon Hermione.

Ta thanks for the grin I needed in the middle of a craptastic work day!

I enjoyed where this story took me and how you properly portrayed the characters. Well done.

Aaw, Percy just wanted some Muggleborn love, but was too shy...

I really like this fic! ^_^

I liked this story for the solution to the marriage law problem. Unfortunately it also shows just how far Percy has moved from his family. If he didn't know she was already engaged to his brother that proves his distance. If he did and was trying to interfere, well that just proves what? Selfishness? Self-centeredness? Loss? I felt good for Herm. and sad for Percy.

I love Charlie/Hermionie.
You have a point about the marriage law fics but it doesnt make them any less fun to read. There are some where Hermionie picks or makes ehr husbands life hell.
But yes, they are the minority.
This is an amazing story, and im now going to read all of yours

Aw. I feel sorry for percy. I think I'm one of the few remaining Percy fans in the world. But, YAY! Hermione=in character. excellent. Go women!

Well I don't know about the pairings, but that's EXACTLY how Hermione would handle a marriage law. And if that didn't work, she'd become an extreme politcal advocate (like a witch version of Zoro? lol). This was a nice breathe of fresh air from all the silly marriage fics. Thanks for writing it.

Wonderful fic, luv it. I completely agree with you, there are far too many Marriage Law fics with Hermione being the weak, submissive, tearful victim or with her quickly falling in love even though being forced into matrimony. Bullocks. I mean, come on! This is the gal who escaped deadly plants, faced Dementors, time-traveled, and fought alongside Harry against Voldemort since the age of eleven. To think she could or would not fight some stupid law head-on is absurb. It is not in her character, she fought for the rights of House Elves for Peter's sakes. How could she possibly stand by and let innocent Muggleborns and Halfbloods, or even herself, be dragged into a marriage they did not want? She would fight tooth and nail, bring down the Ministry, turn the cuplrits into pustules on a toad before letting such injustice occur. Anways, (sorry, it's been buggin me for awhile, and it is so nice to find an author who shares a similar view) Hermione was awesome in her power-crackling, wandless magic, fury. Hot damn, she told Percy off. Poor Percy, gotta stop with being a sneaky, little git and think up better ways to get a girl;) And the scene at the Burrow was cute. So Bravo and Adieu.
