Oh WOW. This is a beautiful, heartwrenching story. I am absolutely bowled over by it. It's incredibly powerful; overwhelmingly so.

Your portrayal of the two characters is detailed, accurate and really carefully thought out. It's breathtaking writing and the emotions are strong, powerful but somehow subtle and understated, reflecting Severus perfectly. The two different notions of hell are really well-written.

The idea of what the supposed "good" side can do is truly chilling.

Frightening in its intensity.

The idea of Snape killing Dumbledore on his orders is not a new one (and possibly correct) but I loved your assertion that "He was the only one I have not betrayed". I can well understand why Snape would envy Bellatrix's oblivion. I don't feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for the children who thought it would solve anything to torture her so. Ah, there is so much emotion in this piece, and I love it.

I like the touch about Bellatrix and what caused her fate, how people change, I think, how war changes people. No one is invulnerable or untouched. To think about children, of who they were, and then what they did. Absolutely brilliant.

Wow, that's... Extremely sad, I'd say... I don't think that even Bellatrix and Severus would deserve a future like this, but it may be a second chance, as well... A dark one, anyway...

This is good. It's _really_, really good. I'm glad to have come across you, because I always look for people who understand Snape, and the nature of redemption--because, as you make clear, in cursing Bellatrix the children have cursed themselves, and in trying to heal her Snape is healing himself.

This is a strange, involving, impressive piece of work. It suffers, from my point of view, from the syndrome "everyone is guilty so no-one is guilty", a viewpoint I can never accept, but I can see that it is the viewpoint Severus Snape would take. Altogether well thought out, with a style suited to the content, and with a good resolution (angsty stories sometimes leave me with an unresolved feeling, as though I had been dealing with a torn-off fragment of something rather than a whole). I have no negative criticism at all.

Good job. I liked how you convey her madness without her speaking, and I also disagree with a previous commenter, I though it was good to know what happened to drive her insane. It was an important part of the story. I also liked how it was writting in Snape's point of view, I though it was very good.
