I knew you would, mate!" "-because I'm not gonna let him win." "Er... let who win?" "Draco Malfoy" "So, HE'S your reason for continuing!?! *heart-attack*")

So, yes, loved this. And it's probably better without a sequel... though this just convinced me to read your other stories (as if Eclipse hadn't already). Great work!

Wow, this is by far the most unique HP fanfic I have ever read! It made me laugh SO hard! It was the title that pulled me in, and the idea that Harry could just give up on the world like that. Ridicuious and yet- you wrote it in such a way that it didn't seem that ridculous anymore- and I have never seen a more realistic depiction of Draco having a crush on Harry because he always beat him at everything- naturally the boy would be attracted to someone who presented such a challenge. afterall he believes he is a malfoy and can conquer anything. Anyways, in short. HILARIOUS, I LAUGHED MY FREAKIN ARSE OFF! keep writing comedy fics, you're very good at them.

OMG! Please write a sequel! This was such an amazing read- I NEED to read about everyones reactions to Harry turning up (Also more hot Draco/Harry action).
This was a really great idea, I love how Malfoy tipped the tables on him so well! Also, I think that by playing after the last couple of weeks that would be going against everyones new expectations of him anyway, so Harry could rationalise it that way (and hey, it would work brilliantly for a ralationship between the two as well)

JUst PLEASE PLEASE write me more good fic like this!

P.S. Do you know of any other stories like this? That have Harry quit or refuse to help Dumbledore but Draco pulls him out of it? Or even gives him a new direction?
I have such a hankering to read that now...

I liked this story a lot. I really liked Harry quitting, and the reactions of everyone. It would have been more satisfying to me if he had quit from *everyone*, including at the end, though. But I can see why the last person (I won't say it here to not spoil stuff) is different.

very nice. I liked watching how Harry quit and how Draco got him back atleast partially into the game. Also great was how in disappointing everyone's expectations meant he had to succeed and work hard in potions. Harry never did sign up and while I think his resolve not to fight might falter if he was directly attacked, think of how much trouble it would have saved him in the mean time.
Also, since this is a one-shot, you should probably mark it as complete, so people don't get confused and decide not to read it because they think its a WIP that hasn't been updated in three year.
