and I also think that there is something so touching in gesture when Mac is touchig Stella's back (just like in 'American Dreamers' when the arrived at bus station) - it is just like you wrote: 'Chivalrous. Polite. Attentive. Gentlemanly. Gallant.' and it makes me fall in love with him all over again every time I see it

and I also love this quote: 'He knew that she was up to something. And when Stella was up to something it usually meant some kind of trouble for him.' nicely said :)
