What a lovely bedtime tale. Hephaestion is a true friend, always helping Alexander out and guarding him from himself. The angst in the beginning turns into safety and beautiful dreams of the glorious future. Beautiful imagery of them sleeping together, with Alexander in need of comfort and reassurance.
