It's interesting to see Zack's interactions with Sephiroth and the other firsts, and to see how much the others see and what they think about what's happening.

This is one of my favorite FF7 stories. I have to own up and tell you - when I've been working on my own fanfiction, I've been coming back here to look at the writing for ideas to make my own better. Not plot or character or whatever, but style. Your story is one of the most well-written pleasures to read on this site.

This is awesome. You do well all the stuff that I haven't been able to get myself to do very much of at all - descriptions for everyone and everything, and descriptions that add to the impression of the character, rather than just be there for the sake of being there. Characters have realistic reactions and perspectives, everything flows well, and the plot grabs you and drags you under 'til you cease to notice the writing itself because you are paying too much attention to the story.

Been a while since you updatd, but I've been off at summer training...was quite happy to see your message in my inbox. Akira is turning to be quite an interesting character in his own right and not just the friendly asian dude.

But Zack didn't really kill him...in a way. It seems like he sort of used Zack to kill himself. Zack even called a warning. If Akira really saw everything then wouldn't he know that?

Although, I must confess, I kinda forgot what happened in this story and was pretty much lost whilst reading this chapter. Oh well. I'll reread it and catch on.

You think *your* fic is aged? ;p It's a lovely chapter description-wise. The Condor sacrifice just about took my breath away with how easy it was to step into Zack's shoes and watch it go down. Poor boy's going to be sweating a bit till the next round, I gather.

Good chapter...your writing in this has improved, IMO...possibly you simply enjoyed a chance for straight up battle that didn't involve a bunch of drama/intrigue to sort out?...regardless, I especially appreciated how well you brought in FF's magical aspects. Many fanfictions, both good and bad, forget how different the world is from ours and more or less talk as if everyone was simply wielding straight up hand weapons. The soldiers actually used their unusual weapons and abilities as a piece in a bigger plan.

I think I should feel blessed for I just realized you posted this on my birthday. So... I should say this was last year's birthdray present to me unintentionally... I'm joking, but the birthday thing is true. You are an excellent writer and if you stop I will kill you.

Though, I do have a question, about their mission... Is it before the time of the original FFVII game, was there more than one Condor? Or is it that they're trying to kill the one that's there, but of course fail.
