you should be happy posting the first Lord of the Rings ff story

I truly enjoyed reading this story, which I have only just discovered despite your having written it several years ago.

I must admit that I was not terribly clear on how Frodo knew that he would have his "illness" on specific days, but I suspect it's my fault for reading too fast in my enthusiasm for your story.

The thing I found most impressive was your writing of Sam, Pippin, and especially Merry. I could see hints of the hobbits that we read about in LotR, but I could also completely believe the little differences, and how they acted as adults and parents in a society not at war.

All in all, an excellent work.

Whew! I thought that Frodo was going to leave! Well, part of me did. The other part was like, Frodo wouldn't *really* leave...

That was an incredibly well done tale. I really enjoyed reading it. It was very sad though, especially the parts about Merry and about Lily. I'm going to need to read the story of Gala's mother! I bet it will be great.

Wow. I finally decide to delve into LOTR fanfiction and I come across this, The Jewel of Fanfiction.net - oops, my bad, Brandy Hall. ;) That's all right. I haven't finished RotK, but I know what happens, and I think I'm going to visit that site. I'd like to bring Frodo back to Middle Earth. Yours seemed fantastic, but I wanted a happy ending, dammit. But I also understand that happy endings don't necessarily happen... ah well, excellent, I do hope that you've written more for me to read!
