What a very interesting story. Is there any chance 0f you finishing it? I ask because I think that it would be a shame to leave the story the way it is. If you don't intend to finish it, could you at least give me a brief summary of how things would have turned out? After all, we know Lee reactions to Kara continued existences, but how would the Commander Adama react; would he be glad, yet still be cautious, or would he immediately want to throw Kara out of airlock?

What a wonderful story - any chance that there's been an update since you posted last? I love the many layers you've given us here. Grieving Lee, honorable Helo, Cylon Kara, and a whole new world. I'd love to know how it ends! Great job, it really stands the test of time, especially considering you started it nearly 4 years ago.

I read "Chasm and Flood" so long ago I barely remembered it, but then someone was looking for it on a forum and the memories came back full-force. This was one of the most original, best written, most soul-shattering stories out there. It breaks my heart that you never finished it! Not a chapter in two years. If you don't intend to finish it, could you tell me how you intended to continue, how you were going to end it? Would Lee and Kara be caught, and would the troops take her back to Galactica? Would they live out their lives in the mountains? Or would he leave her with Bryce "for her own happiness"?

Thank you for a beautiful, near-perfect beginning. I only wish this story had an end. You have such a gift and I'm sad you haven't kept posting.

I love this sorry. It was so heartbreaking when Lee grieved over Kara. And then he finds her again and gets a second chance, knowing that he will have to leave her again. I love how Kara is starting to feel for Lee. I loved the part when she brought him to her hiding place and felt like he had a right to be there, that he wasn't an intruder.

I'm worried though why Kara is on that planet. If she's really a Cylon, wouldn't the Cylons have some plan for her? I hope Lee trusting her so much doesn't backfire in the end.

Are you planning to continue this story? I would give anything to find out what will happen next now that Helo is coming back to get Lee.

Had to say how much I love this story, particularly the early chapters where Lee is grieving for Kara. It's so heartwrenching and sad. And then when he finds her again and there are still all these obstacles in the way (poor Lee, give him a break!)...I'm curious to see how you resolve them. Is she really a Cylon? What's going on? Please write more!

Aah Gods...I really love this story. I hope you can update soon. I hope Lee & Kara can just go away someplace & live peacefully with their own little bunnies, lol.

Just found this story and am glad i did! It has the ability to both warm and rip out your heart at the same time. You convayed Lee's sadness (understatement) and confusion, (but most of all his feeling of falling into madness and knowing about it) beautifully. Cant wait to see where your taking this! Very bittersweet, the earlier chapters especailly (sp?).
