Apologies for this very late review.

A really great piece of work. The subtle interplay between the characters were captured beautifully and entertainingly. This fic highlights why Leon and Ada is the most intriguing, fascinating, and grown-up pairing.

In terms of critique, I understand creatively why you sometimes use long sentences but they can be difficult to read. Whether the effect is worth the pay-off is something to consider. Having said that, the paragraph starting “It changed everything” is a personal favorite. Are you a pro yet?

Amazing story. Beautifully written and with great detail. I love it! You got the emotions between them perfect. I really liked reading this! You definetly have some talent in the writing department!

Holy. Crap. That was... wow. I can't think of any words to describe just how amazing this was. Seriously. This has left me speechless. What can I say? Wonderful detail, dialogue, characterization, interaction... everything. It just flowed perfectly. Kept me hooked until the very last word, and it also made me hungry for more :3 Simply fantastic; one of the best Leon/Ada stories I've ever read.

Kudos to you for writing this glorious piece. I'm going to have to read it again sometime.

*wipes tear from eyes* Well done, this story moved me, and although it doesnt take much when it comes to these two, i was surprised by how genuine your story came across, and how engrossed i became in it. My only criticism is that its too short, id love to see more along this storyline, maybe not a straight off continuance, as it speaks for itself as a stand alone peice, but maybe a sequel?

That’s all I can say. Thousands of words would fail to convey what I really think about this, but I’ll try anyway.

Simply put... this is excellent. Fan fiction at its finest. The premise is simple -- a meeting between two ‘old friends’ at a bar -- but you just made it so much more. You took it to the next level. The characterization, the descriptions, the dialogue -- that and everything in between is intricately worded and flows wonderfully. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This definitely deserves a place on my list of favourites. Keep up the great work.

Late reviewer - I was skimming through the many RE fanfics, searching for some Leon/Ada when I stumbled onto yours.

I'm left completely speechless. I think this is a glorious work of art - the way the words fall into place... the story is 'alive'. I could clearly see both Leon and Ada, as well as everything around them, all in my head. It's simply as if I had just witnessed the scene with my own eyes. The story itself is bittersweet - and I feel that the ending could not have fit more. Naturally, I'd say Please write a sequel, but your story can easily stand on its own(not that I DON'T want a sequel).

All that to say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading your story. :D

Oh my goodness that was amazing. Great descriptions, great dialogue. Everything just flowed beautifully, nothing was awkward in the least bit. What a way with words, you have. And their characters...you really kept them to how they really are in the games. This has to be the best Ada/Leon fic i've read, and the most well written fic I've ever read as well.

Good job :D. I liked it very much, especially that it was realistic in portraying the difficulties Leon and Ada face in being together. I liked the toast especially. A little wordy though. There's a lot you could cut out and still make a deep impression. But it happens when writing comes naturally so all is forgiven. I hope I get to read more like it (only more condensed) someday.

Absolutely beautiful! For once, I really felt like I saw Leon and Ada in a fanfiction, not an American hottie and a sexy Asian. I've never read a better RE fanfic. I loved the dialogue; it did indeed seem as if it came naturally. I loved the word games they played; it seems like just the thing that our lovely ** in the red dress and our now-jaded Leon would do. This was absolutely incredible.

My only complaints are that it seems to me it would be impossible for Ada to meet with Leon in bars so frequently without getting him killed. Also, I can't see her wearing her butterfly dress out like that; too recognizable.

But that's me being nit-picky.

I absolutely loved this story. Your depictions of Leon and Ada's characters is almost photographic (as is ashley's hehehe). Your choice of words for their dialogue is a perfect reflection of their personalities. Very well done. LeonxAda is my favorite couple of all time and it is so refreshing to see such a great piece about their relationship.
