Oneshots are short. There should be no contradictions. There should be no typos. They should be flawless.

You have no contradictions within yours, although the occasional typo springs its head from time to time. On a syntactical level, I'll give it a 7/10. You pass, but a redundant sentence structure kept it from being glamorous in this regard.

I may have been spoiled by reading the oneshots of a particularly good author, but I like them to toss emotions around within a boiling cauldron of literary fulfillment. I'll give you an 8/10 with this. The first-person perspective was well-done, and the characters, though thin, were well crafted. Besides, how much characterization can a story have in a single page?

I liked it. It seems the only Link/Saria interaction we find is romantic, which to me seems a little...wrong. It was fun to read a straight-forward friendship fic; it's something we all want, after all.

Out of curiousity, is this a one-shot, a series, or the first in a series of vignettes?
