Really like this story

I love your story! The way you set it up is amazing, and it's interesting that the story goes on for 14 more chapters even after Derek tells Casey he loves her. I can't wait to read more!

One word of advice, though: you might want to cut down on the monologues just a little bit. You go on for paragraphs and paragraphs when you could just sum it up in a few sentences. I hope you don't take any offense, I just think your story (and stories) might be better if you shortened it.

The scene in chapter twenty four when she's tied to the bed nearly made me sick... Nothing's ever tainted my vision of Derek, I'm usually sure to keep my opinion of him as a charming, mischief maker. Never evil, never cruel. I still haven't, but you're the closest it's ever gotten to me actually thinking anything different about his character. It was extremely disturbing to me, and I'm not sure if that was the desired affect, but I'm definitely going to go have to read/write some fluff now. I need to get that vision out of my mind. *shudder* and fyi, it's not me saying it was bad. That's quite the compliment coming from me, it's very difficult for me to be that affected in that manner by writing. So weather you meant him to be disgusting in that chapter isn't that big a deal, just the fact that you made me think that hard is an accomplishment. *snort* I was so relieved when he realized how... Blegh he was being. Anyway...

HI. I'm Jo, and I finally got around to reading this. xP I've been reading for the past month, and I'm finally done. I'd review the fic so far but it's been a long, long, long 27 chapters, so basically, it's great. It was very disturbing for me the middle of chapter twenty four, but great. You have an amazing sense of how to write obsession, love, angst and every emotion under the sun. You make me feel sorry for Derek one chapter, and make me think he's the most sick, twisted thing on Earth the next. You make me think Casey's a BIOTCH. Then I feel so sorry for her. My brainthing can't handle the confusion.

The pregnancy scare had my heart beating out of my chest. All the awkward conversation about the two of them and their oh so screwed up relationship was perfectly placed. Eventually I couldn't handle it and I started desperately looking for the answer and then my pulse finally calmed down when she said she wasn't pregnant. Great call.

The scene with Paul in chapter twenty six was fantastic. I adore Paul. He's so adorkable. You captured how Casey breaks down in front of Paul astonishingly.

LMAO. Comedic relief ftw.

Dude, this fic is stressful. One of them falls in love and the other's on the rebound, then that one falls in love with the other one when he's banging some other chick. LE WHUT?

These two are just ridiculous. And I love them. Casey deserved what she got, even if it was sad. But Derek is being an arse at the same time, and ARGH I can't decide.

Wow.. Talk about melodrama! Haha, this was one of the most angsty chapters I've read, especially with how Derek was acting. But I liked it. I love how Derek didn't go immediately back to Casey just because she said some fancy words, no matter how much she meant them; however, Derek *was* being a total bastard about it, if I may say so myself. Casey learned a really hard way that she can't get what she wants just because she wants it. Dang, isn't it usually Derek who's always saying he gets what he wants? Lol, role switch: Casey's overbearing and obsessed and Derek is disgusted. I don't blame him for some of it because I agree with what he said, that the only girl worthy of his true affections was begging and pleading like that to get it back, after spurning it and stabbing him in the heart, twisting the knife, and chunking a beach-full of sand in it just for giggles. I can see how that would turn someone off, especially if they were already pissed at the beggar.

Being mad really doesn't solve anything. Anger clouds a person's judgment. But it sure does feel good at the time. ;)

I do think that they should make up, but not easily. Because then I would be forced to lose faith in this story, no matter how close to the end it is, haha. It would be unrealistic, considering just how strongly Derek feels about it all.

On another note, wow! Edwin and Lizzie finally got caught! I was kinda expecting it sooner or later, but then again I was also expecting for Derek and Casey to get caught, and that hasn't happened yet, and I do believe their parents would probably have twin heart attacks. Or something of the sort. I'm sorta surprised that nothing gave Derek and Casey away when they were arguing about Derek's "girlfriend troubles". But they were all mostly focused on the Ed/Liz stuff going down. Understandable.

George and Nora really ARE oblivious and thick-headed, though. I mean, seriously, it wasn't only Edwin's fault, but that's what their making it all out to be, pretty much. And sending him away when they could have just put Lizzie with Casey? Well, I think I understand that logic. The parentals just had a major revelation about two of their children, something that NO parent wants to be dealing with in that specific case.

I really can't wait to read what happens next because I wanna read what's going on in Casey's mind right about now. I gotta know! So please update as soon as you can, this was a great chapter! ;)

OMG Loved the chapter very angst.

i remember reading the first chapters of the story and really not liking Casey for putting Derek though all that pain; but i now feel really bad for her. Now on Derek's part for a while he has acted like a jerk, and i can understand for him to say no to Casey; but we can all see that He still loves her(i hope) The chapter did make me cry from all this pain that both have.

I really hope that you end it happily beacuse its been up for so long and i would really hate that it ended in a sadness.

Well it took me a good minute...but I finally got through that chapter.
And let me just say your amazing. Certain phrases were just so wittily crafted that it motivated me in weird ways.
This chapter really evoked emotional reaction from me and so much sympathy and pity and sadness from myself, as a reader.
Your doing great, but please don't take your time in publishing the next chapter okay?
Cause seriously, I'm dying to see how the next chapter will go over.

You are a master of angst. This is one of those few stories that i enjoy reading over and over again, and still find myself wanting more. I hope you continue to put your efforts into this story because it means as much to readers, such as myself, to read your work as it is for you to write it. Excellent job!

It made me really happy that Derek pushed away Casey like that. with all the wrong she's done to him and everything that he's done to her...they're too effed up to be together. I think the only way to really end this is with them not together because they really bring out the worst in each other.

anyway, loved the chapter, especially when derek just let go everything that we all were feeling. wonderful!
