Kenshin to the rescue! I love stories like this where he actually gets to do something besides sitting around saying, 'Oro'. He managed to quell the rumors without killing anyone too, which is always a good thing.

Very original, I must say, it never crossed my mind that the possibility of such gossip during that time would have been very high...I love how you separated them into scenes, like a Ruroken episode, I enjoyed it! And Kenshin going off to protect Miss Kaoru's honour, that is so typical of him. _

Good stuff this. If there is one thing that kenshin really doesnt care about, it is his honor. As long as they didnt insult anything but him, he really could care less. As soon as they insulted Kaoru, woe betide they who do so.

Poor Kenshin for getting hurt. But he was right to protect Kaoru's honor like that. Somehow, I don't think she'd stand up for herself against such things as those rumors.

I'm interested to what our little rurouni is up to. But I think that your idea is a great one! I Believe that having Kenshin living at the dojo has caused quite a commotion and would cause Kaoru some distress. So good on you!
