I really enjoyed this piece. I like how you write Yaone as unsure of herself and considering herself unworthy without making her weak. That's a hard balance that you do well. Also, you know Lirin has to be the *worst* child to look after. I like how you write Yaone and Kou's interactions.

I'm guessing this is one of the early one shots... It was very good! There were some minor spelling mistakes ("to" got used for "the" a couple times... missed letters... things that happen to me all the time so it's really not a big deal) but the over all feel of it was very genuine and VERY Yaone.

My only thing... I DID find it amusing. You said earlier you didn't think it turned out that way. It made me laugh just because the characters were so dead on that the situation very likely could have happened. And LIRIN! Ugh... I've babysat for some horrible kids in my days, but that one takes the cake completely... and shoves it in your face! I agree with whoever said in another review she needs to get a couple straps from the belt.

It is really great to see a story based on the Kougaiji-tachi as there just aren't enough stories based on them, especially in character ones. I can't believe I took this long to get around to reading this but it was definately worth the print out.

You have a few minor typos or wrong words but nothing major or distracting, like here
'if Lirin had accidentally spill two of the wrong things'
spill should be spilt or spilled.

This was quite nice...though I don't know enough of the Kou-tachi to really comment.

But I don't know if Kougaiji is really a 'hug' person. It did take him nearly all of two series to even come close to that with Lirin. That is only an observation, not an criticism because, everything else was executed just fine, just right. I like especially the interaction between Dokugakuji and Yaone, it was characterised well.

(I like him because really he did his best under the circumstances for little Gojyo.)
