I know I've said that I'm not one for writing B/A shipper fics, but how can anyone not enjoy a great story like this? It was incredibly well-written, and you nailed the characters perfectly. I could honestly picture everything that you wrote actually happening. The disagreements and tension between Bobby and Alex was exceptionally well written, as was the gradual recovery of the relationship from that tension. You wrote so well Bobby's uncertainty, his fear in letting go and letting Alex see everything in him, and her anger at him seemingly not trusting him enough to let go. I'm also glad you wrote an epilogue. The original ending was nice, but just slightly abrupt. You possibly could have done a little more with Deakins' suspicions about what had actually gone on at the conference, but it didn't detract in any way. This was an excellent story, and I really enjoyed reading it. |
