I don't know if I"m supposed to find this ironic or humorous. Humor catches me at the last line, when the man's identity is revealed, but the bit about being better off with him is some tragic irony.

I have read the trilogy, although it has been a while. For a better backstory to Morden, you should read 'The Shadow Within'. Anyway, this is just a short bit of fun; you don't have to take it too seriously.
