The oath Snape swore at the beginning, and the oath at the end - don't they contradict one another? Other than that, I can't find anything that confuses me. Nicely done. ^^

delaneym 2005-12-04 ch 3, anon.	abuseI simply loved it. It captured a dynamic that is very, very hard to achieve i.e, keeping the tension and distrust between them, while also creating affection. Also, love how in character both of them were. Snape was so very... Snapelike. Excellent.

Yours, which is even more rare, achieves something really hard - your Black and Snape are both in character, and in spite of that, their relationship is believable. And, unfortunately, it follows the canon all the way, even through the Veil. Sigh. However I still stupidly hope, that Rowling will somehow bring Black back. Uncurable fangirlishness, I'm afraid. Thanks once again for a really good read. /Sorry for my English; as you probably guessed it's not my first language./

Loved the line about the Weasleys wanting to smother Harry (and his own concurrence in that objective, in his own special way), the Umbridge stuff, the Order meetings, but most of all the explanation for how the DADA profs were chosen.
