I like this oneshot, it isn't often we get a chance to venture into the mind of Souta so usually when people try it doesn't feel right. You however do a perfect job in capturing the essence of who Souta is while at the same time expanding our mental image of him far beyond the one given to him in the manga. Overall, this is a great story with a moral everyone should know, that way everyone will try to be a hero, even if it is only to their family.

This was very thought-provoking stuff! I can't believe you only got 14 review for this thing... It's fantastic! I loved how every scene was important and built up the final realisation at the end. Sota's heroes are officially my heroes, as well as Sota himself. Yes, Sota, you're a hero! Whee!

As a writer of Sota-centric fanfics myself, I cannot state how impressed I am with your work. Nice one!

It's nice to see Souta getting some credit. He does seem to be one of the more responsible characters in the series.

wow, this story was awesome. you did a great job on it. the scene with kagome practicing in the rain at night with bleeding fingers is excellent, i don't know why it just is. again, great job.

My two favorites were Naruto and Monkey D. Luffy. My friends liked them because of their awesome, super-cool abilities and how they managed to kick so much butt.

I liked them because no matter how dire the situation, no matter how lost the cause, no matter how hopeless things seemed, they continued to fight with smile and spunk, and always managed to spread that positive attitude to everyone around them.

I love this parallel between Kagome and Naruto and Luffy!

What a fantastic little piece of work. I've come to read it for the IY Fanguild comp, and I'm so blown away by your amazing writing skill. That was a great one-shot, nothing like the typical ones, and you approached the subject so well, explaining everything so thoroughly so it fit together, sending the message across. And the scene where she was in the rain, crying, blood on her fingers, I though was very effective. Really liked, and it had the perfect ending. Everyone is a hero to someone else, we just can't see it..

*sigh* Never have I read such a ...Souta-ly-in-character...story before. Great work, I hope you make more like this! For some reason, I'd *love* to see a Miroku...
