This is very good for a firstfic, you should write more.

Eh. It's mediocre. Fearful Little Thingy and Nabooru (awesome reviews, btw) seem to have already given you a complete knee-knocking, so I'll spare you the long version. In short:
1. Tugger is wildly out of character.
2. The writing style feels abrubt.
3. Studying never hurts!

I'm going to agree with most of what Sleeping Tiger said. Tugger seems wildly out of character; I can't see him snapping like that at anyone, much less using vulgar language (I think he's more likely to be snarky and poke fun than to start swearing or yelling). I think removing words like "hell" would help it seem more like Tugger and less like PodPerson!Tugger. I also agree that you need more transition to Tugger realizing Quaxo/Mistoffelees is magical and deciding he had better see Tantomile and Coricopat (not Calicopat). That remark seemed really out of the blue. Even just mentioning that something seemed to occur to Tugger suddenly, or that suddenly he seemed to know what was going on would help the scene immensely.

And now to address your questions: I wouldn't suggest writing another ficlet or two until you've fixed up this one and made sure it's the best it can be. Starting multiple projects is often distracting, especially when one already has other things to be worrying about. I wouldn't take this off the net, because it's ooc, not offensive. And it's not another bad slash fic. I much prefer seeing these two as friends. As such, I see this fic having quite a bit of potential, because almost 100% of the Mistoffelees/Quaxo stories are "Macavity gets revenge" or "Misto/Quaxo angsts about magic" or "Misto/Quaxo must learn to control his magic." The stories hardly ever have to do with anything else, unless it's romance, and that's boring. So I'm glad to see someone finally, finally, tackling a friendship themed fic. It's got room to improve, of course (what fic doesn't?), but it's a good start and a relatively unexplored idea.

Good luck on your exams.

If that little abc addend wasn't the most pathetic thing I've ever seen attatched to the end of a story in order to get reveiws, I dont know what was. All in all, I think it's the only thing I dont like... and the only thing not worth while and an affornt to readers with taste.

I like the story. It's original, well written, with good use of structure and characterisation. I did get a little confused as to what the intentions of the 'tough looking tom' towards that queen in the alleyway were, but I suppose that was all perception. You've successfully answered the most overlooked querie in the whole Tugger/Quaxo friendship, and if you take this story down then the entire fandom would be worse off for it.
So there.

Okay! *cracks knuckles* I just got finished talking to my friend, who is a writer, so I read this in full "Review" mode. Okay..first off...

"(...) I just see him as Tug. A short, simple name (...)" There should be a colon (:) there instead of a period. Okay, now that that's out of the way.

I think you have a good idea here. But Tugger seemed a little too rough with him, it seemed. I mean, I know he was upset, but I can't see him snarling at a kitten. But I do like your use of names here, the whole "I just see him as Tug" and how they had a contrasting relationship with their different names. (Did that make sense? Anyway) You're grammar seems in order *nod nod* I think my big problem was that Tugger seemed out of character for me. (Especially with immediately to bring Misto to the twins. That was...abrupt)

I think it could have had more to it, IMHO, but I know you're pressed for time if you have exams, and frankly, you really SHOULD study!! (But writing on the side as a hobby is something that I WOULD encourage *wink*)
