this one's for old times sake. awesome oneshot... you really get into the characters and I loved seeing sango stuck in this vengeful cycle, finally able to break free.

[“I was foolish enough to care for Nothing.”]

beautiful. I see neither of us are writing fanfiction anymore (for me it's been years... don't even know if you remember me), but this was still a delight to read.

kagura and sess. were both excellent as well; wonderful character work!

Adams did use in in a rather tragi-comic ironic manner as well. Atleast I always felt bad for him. Nice with the car accident too. But anyway this ties nicely with the other two, and is definitely the best characer choice to continue use with. Easiest accessable and continuous angst and dedication. Enjoyable as ever, and I regret its the last in this sudo-series.

An excellent and powerful one-shot. I loved the historical references, and especially Sango's characterization.

Wow... I was totally impressed and intrigued by this ficlet. My daughter and I often discuss the what ifs that could happen after all is said and done with the completion of the Shikon no Tama. Kagome was not aware of demons in her time, but that did not mean that they did not, in fact, exist. To think Sango could never truly believe Naraku was destroyed and never being able to come to sorts with her own feelings...it was interesting to see that she was the one who needed to reconcile that need to take revenge to find peace in the afterlife. I did however find it amusing how just as she would come close to accomplishing his death that it was -she- that would die. And to see Sesshoumaru with Kagura as a human, even in her frailty of old age, loving and caring for her. That's a rare thing to see. Guess time does change everything. I'm going to save this ficlet. It has a great lesson to learn in it and I commend you on your ability and talent to write such a poignant story.

I love your stories. I thought you were the author that wrote a story called Letters, an AU with a Sess/Kag pairing. It was really good and I thought about it today and really wanted to read it. Anyways, great story, again.

I think I loved this best of all three.

//“That must be my problem, Sesshomaru,” he rasped, then gave a hollow, empty laugh. The hanyou gave the youkai a weary look, one that held a lifetime of pain. “I was foolish enough to care for Nothing.”//

Oh god did I love that, I hope you make more of these stories, they elate me.

whoa, kay, that was creepy. But really cool.

AJIBAJI!! ... or ... shoot. I forget the name of the vengeful(sp?) spirit in Hitch HIker's Guide to the Galaxy ... oh well. Ajiga-something. Heh. That was awesome. :)

That's a brilliant idea. I really adored the contrast, and that last line "I was foolish enough to care about Nothing"...just, neatness. The difference between how Sesshomaru and Naraku live their lives really shows who has grown and who hasn't. Nice job.

I know I've reviewed this before, so I will limit my comments to applauding Titan Wren for picking up on pretty well every reference in her review.

Did... did you just incorporated the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire into a vengeful-reincarnation fanfic? That was delightful.

I'm not sure how I feel about Sango falling into an Agrajag sort of role. It's a bit depressing, but fascinating at the same time. And I so wanted her to get her vengeance in the end, but alas. To be honest, Naraku/Anyone pairings always leave me scratching my head, because I picture the day-after scene, where she's dishing to her girlfriends about it:

Random Friend: So, how was he, really?

The Naraku Paramour: Um, kinda spongy, actually.

And that is why I 'ship Naraku/Shikon. But back to the actual review - as always your writing is beautiful and thought-provoking. The Kagura/Sesshomaru scene was endearing, especially in your incorporation of her parting words, showing how everything has come full circle. As for Naraku himself, I'm glad he lives in the end. For one thing, if he died, Sesshomaru would have no one to play shoji with, and we can't have that. But he also has an eternal quality about him, where I can't really see him being killed by something so simplistic as vengeance, even if said vengeance is strung out over several lifetimes. So kudos on that.

As for critiques... Hmm. I did wonder how Sango came into possession of ancient magic. I also wondered whether the talisman and name "Nanashi" were throw-backs to "Broken Blade," though I wouldn't call that so much a critique as an idle curiosity. All in all, the piece is well-done and a lovely addition to your fanfic portfolio. So, will there be a next in this series?

As always, thanks for writing something worth reading. And something worth reviewing, to boot.

::Shudders:: Whoa! That sent chills up my spine. I like it very much...although it would've been good to see Naraku get wasted...but that wasn't the point of this. Good job
