Love the twist and certainly didn't expect it, although it's quite logical really. It's kind of sad how poor Trey starts out positive and really tries to start afresh, but when he doesn't get a break, the temptation is too strong.

I also like the way we get to see Ryan as the lucky one from Trey's point of view, when we usually in fics get an unlucky Ryan coming from a bad family situation. Very interesting indeed.

Really liked this fic - never really bought the whole 'I bought this watch for you Ry as a thank you' ** story that Trey gave in the show - this one is so much more believable.
