Thanks for twisting Otogi into a monster. No really, I don't think I'll ever look at him in the same way ever again. I have to admit, the overall plot was somewhat confusing...I can't tell whether Otogi was really meant to have the ring in the first place of whether it was just the perspective of Bakura and himself deeming it so. I guess that's the disadvange of being a ring, you have no real voice...just perception.
Poor frightened, cracked Ryou. And there's no one to sew him back up again.

Gah! Creepy! I thought it moved too slowly at the beginning... I know this is a suspense piece, but I felt tempted to skip down to see what happens. I cry for Ryou... Waah! But I like the use of words at the end (there's a technical term for that, but I can't remember it.) It paints a very vivid and spooky picture.

m, blood. i liked the way you wrote some of the details and thoughts. its so interesting to hear such a point of view on something that seems so simple. they way you described the ring, and the symbolism you gave it or dug up about it was really amazing. heh, wish i could write =P
