I especially liked the way you wrote him as being aware of the suffering brought on by his attempt to get Cecelia back, and -while feeling the unfairness of the price- still deciding to not abandon his intentions; he cares, and he can even sympathize, but he cares for *her* even more (or, possibly, for himself). An engaging and enjoyable read. |
