I love the look at their family life you give us here. Rilla's difficulty in accepting that she can't have more children, her slow coming to grips with it, Ken's nightmares, the twins' connection ... all so touching. Even though they can't have any more, the four of them make a wonderful family.

And I do so love the idea of Shirley and Persis together!

I only have one question--the little girl is called Ally in this chapter, but in the previous one she is named Leslie Opal. I'm just curious where the "Ally" nickname comes from--I can't quite make it work with either name, but that just might be me.

I'm so glad you got back to this story! I hope you don't leave it as long between this chapter and the next :)

I hate cliffhangers! They are wonderful for dramatic tension but terrible for your poor readers, who just want to know what will happen next.

I like this story so much because you are truly one step ahead of the readers, and that is rare in fanfiction writing. I have no idea what you will do next and I love being surprised.

And I love Carl's surprise for the family! I think it's great how you've given him a real personality and made him an actual person, not just a side-note. Even though this is Rilla's story, I think Carl's become my favorite character ;)

Events did move extremely quickly in this chapter--not that that's a bad thing, but it might take a couple of readings to take everything in!

Aww.. this is a really sweet chapter. I really love how you portray Rilla in this story. It makes me love her more. And I also love the way you give Leslie some part too. I always love when stories keep the old characters and show them, even just for a moment. I can't believe you don't have more reviews for this. This is my favorite after Rilla of Ingleside story I've found. I will definitely keep reading.

Wow! This is honestly the best fan fic I have found for after Rilla of Ingleside. Every chapter was a little surprising and good. I love all the twists and turns and just the way you've shaped the story. I have loved this. There hasn't been one thing about it I would change.. Except maybe the summary. At first I didn't want to read it because the summary seemed a little dull and sad to me. It didn't at all reveal how great the story was. Well anyways, I'm waiting for the next chapter to come.
