Hehe. I love it. You've created a wonderful, believable backstory to the game and captured the feel of the characters while doing so. Fitting that the very thing that led to Dormin's revival was the attempt to prevent it.

Wow... That story was just wonderful. It captured the feel of the game beautifully. It made me frown at times, smile at times, and do a little of both at other times. This really reached me on many emotional levels and strung me along until I could see it all as if I were watching it happen. This was a beautiful work of art, and I greatly enjoyed every moment of it. Thank you for writing this, and I don't think I'll ever be able to play the game the same way again. I especially loved the subtle hints towards the ending of the game in the story. Please keep up the great work, and thank you again. See ya!

Damn. What a wonderful embodiment of the tone of the story. You really get a sense of what it took to motivate Wander to do these feats of strength and will. I loved how it was the sword itself who sealed her fate, and how it would be the sword that brings her back. You took a somehwat unexpected turn, portraying Emon in a sympathetic light and not as a villain, as would be the easiest route. I also liked how the back story was interlaced with the slaying of Phalanx, my personal favorite Colossus. The beauty and grace of such a gigantic beast was such an unusual juxtaposition of opposing ideals that it almost screams to be the centerpiece to a story such as this. Finally, the progression of Wander from clean and strong and healthy to the state he was in when he approached Malus was very well depicted in your story. Nicely done.

A great piece for Shadow of the Colossus! Very well written, and a wonderful use of language. I felt that there were a few places that rushed by a little too hastily: The coming of colossus 13, the talk of his mastering of the bow, and the fall of the colossus. I found your description for colossus 13 also to be somewhat bleak. You have a great start here; I would look forward to a more complete piece if you did indeed continue.

Also, on a more personally note. I truly enjoyed your belief of the underlying story. The momentary flashbacks were a very nice touch indeed.
