How is Snape so epically useless? As a skilled spy and inner circle death eater - this version of Snape seems a bit incompetent.

This is a bit OOC despite what is said to have happened to him in the summer. Why is he so consistently stupid?

What I want to say is that this is the Best story I have ever read on this website. Really.
You should get an award for this.

Overall, it's a good story and I like the story line. However, there are numerous spelling errors throughout the story, then instead of than and rode instead of road, to name a couple. Also I would love to see Severus and Harry have a little more depth to them. The characters seem very 1 dimensional. I do enjoy the relationship between Harry and Severus, I just feel as if he is a bit of a push over.

Like I said though, overall...good story. I'm off to the next chapter now...

Found your tale on ObsidianEmbrace's fav. Awesome job. I love your storyline and the character development. You gave this story such depth! The way that Severus and Harry's relationship developed was very beleivable. This was a what it tale, were different descision made choose an new path. Alot of poor choices were made along with the good ones. That made for a very suspenseful story. Thanks for sharing your talent.

This was an amazing fanfic. Really long but I read it over 3 days as I couldn't leave it alone. I also meant to review more chapters but I was so keen just to read the next one – sorry about that.

There was so many twists and turns that towards the end I had forgotten that Vespa was even a part of this story it seemed a life time ago.

I loved the use of Draco. Moody was such a git and I was so happy when Severus battered him.

My favourite parts were Harry becoming dependant on the pain potion and Ron dropping him right in it – LOL Also how you used Lily when Harry was so close to giving up – it was beautiful. Oh and how she trusted Severus, all along. There were so many other moments that I just cannot mention them all.

But above all Harry’s slow recovery was very well written I hate it when Harry is abused then all of a sudden everything is smiles and sunshine after 2 days with Severus, you wrote the lasting emotional scars very very well. I loved Harry and Severus’ relationship, love, hate, anger two troubled souls finally finding a place that they both belong.

Onto read the sequel now and unless I am very much mistaken “The most interesting statue was of a man in tattered clothes with a sad expression on his face” is Sirius Black, or at least a clue to Sirius coming back. Probably not, but I am always hopeful for Sirius returning from beyond the veil.

I would recommend this is anyone who wants an action packed Harry and Severus fic.

Fantastic last chapter! You portrayed Harry's feelings so well, not wanting to be a murderer and not seeing the good sid eof him killing voldemort and his worries of becoming just like him. Fantastic work!

Loved the ending, somehow it really gets to me when people cry out everything they ever bottled up and it was really good and emotional! Perfect ending, especially the last statement:

"Now it is your turn to live." So true!

Well I finally finished reading the story, so now I can finalyl read the sequel that had been my interest all along, but to understand it I had to read this first :D

The story started out a bit unbelieving, the part about Severus sudden change, but as I kept reading hoping it would get better and more realistic, I was definitely rewarded with an awesome story. the start seemed a bit rough, but the further I got into the story the better it became. You have some amazing twist and turns to make anyone's head come off :P and I loved it!

Thx for pushing me on to read more promising it would get better, you were absolutely right. I had my doubts in the beginning but it's an incredible story and you should be proud!

Fabulous story! Amazing scenes where Harry was close to dying and Severus trying to keep him awake and loved how you used Lily as well.
