absolutely perfect sense - when i worked i was looking for a 'house husband' with those exact qualifications (houseboy would have been the term i had in mind at the time).

it is the greatest thing when individuals in a relation compliment each other in abilities - to have what the other lacks. they fit perfectly.

This is the total embodiment of the saying "Opposites attract". Kenshin and Kaoru may not fit into the rules of society, but they have their own categories.

I laughed when I finished this. It wasn't a humor fic at all, and yet... :) Wonderful wording.
Hidari 3/20/06 . chapter 1
Yep, I couldn't agree more. They are indeed perfectly matched. Nice one! ;)

Such wonderful descriptions of how Kenshin and Kaoru are made for each other... Humorous and sweet... _x

This is a tender portrait of these two. "opposites in opposites"-a great phrase to capture their relationship. It makes it seem both inevitable that they should pair up, and impossible that they would be able to actually achieve that.

I loved the "poor excuse for" thing, and your repetition of it was just the right touch. Quite poignant, that.

Nice idea! Both defied society's standards and with that, they complemented each other. You showed this very well! And oh!, i love the last sentence. Hope you write more soon!:P

Aww... that's sweet. I like it. The deliberate contrast was very well done, and I can feel your affection for the characters coming through. Thanks very much!
