It's lovely. And it isn't even squickily incestuous, because Gloucester doesn't know "Tom" is his son. Lucky for me, I read King Lear a month or two ago, so I'm with you, and it's really beautifully written and fits into the mood and plot of the play very well. Have you seen the Masterpiece Theatre version of King Lear? I've forgotten his name, but the actor who plays Edgar is lovely, and I'm totally seeing him in this story.

I was Gloucester in my school play... never thoughta this, tho _ Marvelously well written. So many wonderful lines, I can't pick a favorite. Just lovely. (And for some *odd* reason, I'm not squicked by the whole father/son thing. Huh.)
