There's a real spark between these two - far more than there ever was between Tony and Kate. They smouldered in this episode and later, in 'Boxed-In.' I enjoyed reading this.

Guevera 2005-12-09 ch 1,	abuseAww that was perfect! I'm a Tate shipper myself, but as I see more and more of season 3 with Ziva in it I'm starting to doubt that... am I still a Tate shipper? And your story was the perfect insight into Ziva's mind, her thoughts and her feelings - and now you've made me doubt that even more!! It just seems that Tony and Ziva have more chemistry than Kate and Tony did - as seen here in your story. I loved the line at the end "But as she walked down the hallway she realized that she hadn’t kissed Tony goodbye." - That was the PERFECT ending! It shows that Ziva was beginning to bond with Tony more than she ever intended - You HAVE to write more fics like this, they're perfect!! Bec xxoo

Arachne21 2005-11-09 ch 1, anon.	abuseI love you. No, really. I love that even whilst he's with Ziva, you made Tony think of Kate (and ask for her forgiveness, too!). And I love that Ziva seems to be as detached from it all emotionally in your fic as I really think she is in the series. And I especially love that you picked up on the fact that she didn't kiss him goodbye. As a huge TATE shipper, this episode was really difficult to watch. I couldn't believe Tony would just get over Kate's death in a matter of weeks to the point where he'd be happily rolling around in bed with this newcomer (job or no job). I felt insulted and upset as a fan that the powers that be at the show would foist a Tony/Ziva "pairing" on us so soon after Kate died, and knowing how many people loved Tony/Kate. Thank you for not buying into the hype and proving that out of sight isn't necessarily out of mind.
