Excellent fic ^_^ Definetly the best Avatar fic I've found so far. I like the original characters, (except for Reiko >_< and even more to your credit, I never really trusted her :-p ) the plot is gripping, and your portrayal of the regular characters is dead-on ^_^

Wow, where do I start? I love all your female characters, I adore them so much. You should only write women, you do so well with them.
Yuki and Sokka meet man to man, eye to eye, knee to groin! I think she taught him a valuable lessons.
Reiko is incredibly interesting as a character, it's wonderful seeing her match wits with Qiao, who seems so ruthless and evil and yet, so human. I figure Qiao would consider assisting Zuko in exchange for some royal perks if Zuko gets the throne, but I suppose she sees the political winds and sees Ozai's mercy as about as likely as snow in July.
Haru's anguish was heart-breaking.

13 hour days...uck. I can empathize, almost. Anyway, this an awesome chapter. It was worth the wait. What a moving opening. Haru's determination borders on inspirational. "Faith the size of a mustard grain..." you know? I'm glad Aang and Katara got things settled. And Reiko, I *l*o*v*e* this character. With asterisks. Looking forward to more of her, and more Sokka and Yuki interaction, and...just more of everything, really.

Your writing skill has improved a lot since the beginning of this story. Your plot is very interesting and you characters are very IC.

Wow! Well it's been a while since I've been on to read this story, but I must say I am quite impressed! You are doing a fabulous job, as always! ^.^ I also love the extras...I think my favorites are Red vs Green and the one where you date four girls at once! LOL Keep up the great work!

Nice chapter! Poor Aang...Reminds me of middle school. There's so much going on in this story, I think I'll have to go back and re-read some of it before you update again...so take your time!

Another fine chapter!
Highlights: I love the image of Ba Xing Ce trying to keep their spirits up under the onslaught. That made me cry, it was so beautiful.

Aang trying to defend the people but finding it impossible.

We see Reiko's true colors and realize she's an assasin, even though she's falling in love.

Aang's jealous of Haru and Katara is motherly playing nurse. We all have duties but it's hard to see Aang feel so alone and Katara see so much sadness.

Can't wait for more.

Awesome chapter, as always! I was right - "You" was Haru! Lady Qiao is such a great, and faceted character. I really like her. And this omake was hilarious, too. Remind me to pick up a get well card...

Another brilliant chapter. Qiao is so much better now and I love how cold she is. She is as you say exacting and her complete dressing down of Zhu was inspired!
I also liked Airoh and Zuko's conversation, Zuko is becoming more broken and natural, his defences down enough to take some comfort. Airoh's wisdom really fits, the person who wants victory most will almost always get it.
Looking forward to the next chapter!

You...? You who? I think I know, but what an awful thing to do to us! Just kidding... Good chapter anyway. I found the conversation between Lady Qiao (How do you pronounce that? Like 'cow'? Just curious.) and her lieutenants interesting. And Zuko's baby stories - haha, nice touch!

"What're you worried about?" asked Yuki with a grin. "Last I heard, we've got two healers on call any time! Beat each other up as much as you want!"

"Ah, great!" said Sokka. He was grinning, but his eyes were hard. "Now I can really beat the crap out of you!"

-Men! No way to solve problems like beating each other up.

I adored the arrow scene, Reiko is so amazing. She's so quietly strong, steel in silk. I especially love how you let her cry, showing how vulnurable she is. Aha!
Well, the plot definitely thickens. I love how Reiko is falling in love, but her wound was a ploy to get into Zuko's embrace and she might be an assasin or worse. Those tears might have been fake. I am a bit exhausted so my memory of this story is null, but that means I get to enjoy it twice.
