I love the connection between Kyou's thoughts about Kagura and his bad mood. It's exactly the way I imagine he would act as he sorts out his feelings. Yuki and Tohru's moment was cute and sweet, too. Lovely chapter!

It's an interesting parallel you're drawing; Kagura gaining strength and assurance as Kyou is slowly losing his. The idea that she's the one he needs to turn to when he has something to talk about is a nice touch, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing if they do have that conversation. Lovely job!

A bit slow in the begining and the plot is a bit overused in KK fiction, but what separates this from the rest is the way you go into the minds of the characters. Kagura's pain is palpable and Kyo's growing frustration understandable. Keep it up. I can't wait for the next chapter.

The scene that this story is set after is, of course, the biggest Kyou and Kagura moment. I love how much thought you've put into it before following it up with this fic. You wrote the emotions of both Kyou and Kagura well, without slipping out of character. Yuki and Tohru, although minor here, were also dead on.
