I like the different POV, I like the fact that Catherine is really a mom (her character sometimes leads me to forget that!). And Grissom and Sara cooperating to give Catherine some time with Lindsey is wonderful -- about time this group started acting as if they really can be functional!

I think somewhere there is a bag of Halloween candy missing its sugar and a tree missing some sap. Which is not to say that I didn't enjoy this ficlet, its a nice break from the usual GSR angst. I liked the way you worked in Lindsey and that you gave Sara a higher solve rate than Grissom.

oh, really good use of the lines! I loved this fic a lot, it;s going into the favs! ^^
