Your Oasis 2007-12-17 ch 14,	abuseI just finished reading this yet another Lumi/Bab story of yours. I liked it because of your writing but angsty stuff aren't really my cup of tea. But for it being angsty, it was quite good. I was disappointed though that Lumiere was barely there but I know this is like her backstory. Good job though.

BookRose 2006-11-22 ch 14,	abuseAnd so it ends. But what an ending! I'm so glad Brielle has such a good man like Claude who was heartbroken to learn about the baby and wanted to rescue her. Maybe they'll be married one day and have themselves lots of babies. It's a very good "for now" ending that had a story behind it riveting to the end. It really is too bad that Babs only gets Lucien once a week. Is it just that he can't get away more often? Thats really too bad. Darn these ridgid social structures! They come more into play in Questionable Romance, but they are still very prevalent here. I honestly can't wait now to read the next stuff! It's gonna be a blast! @~BookRose~@
BookRose 2006-11-22 ch 13,	abuseWhoa! My gosh that was explosive! So glad everything is out in the open though. It would be so redundant to say it but I really must-I KNEW there was a better way. I knew it! I hope Babs got her good-so good it'll take alot of cosmetics and more to cover it all up. If people wouldn't give up so quickly and take the lesser route, how much better things would be for us all. Well I know Babs will learn from this and never ever trust someone like Fifi again when she knows already what kind of person it is. Hopefully. And Brielle! How horrible to purposely hurt an innocent like her and enjoy it too! I really hope Jezebel gets her just deserts someday. It would not be enough. @~BookRose~@
BookRose 2006-10-28 ch 12,	abuseAha! I knew it! I also know that if Babette had told Odette or Aubrey, they would have had a completely better solution, one less drastic and...vengeful. We are all aware that this is Fifi's revenge somehow. Dear God. There is always a catch to something especially if this is not a person you would trust otherwise. I really hope that Josephine reaps what she sows. It would be everything she deserves after the innocent soul she just hurt. If only D"Araignee wasn't the bad kind of employee either. You know, if she wasn't so mean, she might know more. I gotta see what happens next. @~BookRose~@

And who's to say she won't make sure Madame finds out another way? I have a very bad feeling about this. There has to be another solution besides killing an innocent child. Dear God there has to be. Josephine is so poisonous. And toxic. Her name should've been Jezebel. I hope the dogs DO eat her flesh someday. (Biblical reference) Why do I have a feeling things can't be so bad that Brielle would have to go to the "angel maker?" Pauvre cherie. I hope this doesn't destroy her. @~BookRose~@
BookRose 2006-10-28 ch 10,	abuseEr, ha ha...Nicolette's in this one. I know that if I was a guy being forced into an arranged marriage, I could not ask for anyone better. I mean she has it all: class, beauty, and a great personality. Poor Lumi though! It really looked like thier luck had run out since he had used up all his good cover-ups. At least this time, he didn't have to make anything up. Although that one about Luci doing charity work almost made me die laughing. Although he is kind to those lower in station, I couldn't see him doing anything like that now. Maybe later in life in the house his parents built for him. @~BookRose~@

It is too bad however that Luci is being forced into an arranged marriage. Not uncommon however. But I can definitely empathize with him about how they don't even tell him about this stuff. It SHOULD be his life, considering he's around twenty or so. At least his bethrothed is really cool. She actually makes me think of both Belle and Jasmine. Nicolette is in itself a very beautiful name. Let the good times roll! @~BookRose~@

It's lucky for him that he has a steady income, being a merchant and all or he might be one of those poor starving artists. Yeah, he was a good first choice. Poor Babette not knowing why Lucien hadn't found her though. I guess she doesn't know that he doesn't know how to find it. As in he wouldn't know to ask other men. He would probably avoid asking men he knows, like his father and other noblemen. IMPO, I think the longer Babette waited, the more men woud have wanted her until the requests to be with her were overwhelming. As in her worth would have grown because of all the hormonal male attraction to LFN. She would have been a rarity, a treasure among moth-eaten silk if you will. Oh well I guess it's good that it happened now, because now that viper Fifi can't say anthing about her not being a "true Fleurette." @~BookRose~@
BookRose 2006-09-13 ch 7,	abuseAnd so it begins! Yay! I wish Lumi had been in this chapter although I understand he wouldn't have had a purpose(well wait-he could have brought Luci a drink. You don't mind if I call him Luci do you) and it is a specific Luci-Babs chapter. He is really nice though. I bet if there was no Lumiere (Heaven forbid) or Nicolette, they could have been together cause I believe the only reason he did as his parents wished in QR was because he was starting to like Nicolette a little. If he was betrothed to a girl he despised, he would have found the courage to run away with Babs! Gee, now I sound like a LuciBabs shipper. I can't wait to see the next chapter. It was very exciting, I enjoyed reading it and I will surely enjoy reading anything that comes from you in the future. Please continue to create these wonderful passionate stories as I will continue to read. I really enjoyed the extra characters you created in this story and they were very in depth and added a lot to the story. Great job!

As a summary, I just want to see you most definitely SHOULD be proud of it cos it was brilliantly written, very entertaining, intriguing without resorting to umpteen million cliffhangers (like someone else i know! :p) and just generally a bloody good story! I'm sure theres plenty more where that came from though and you certaonly deserve your position as one of my favourite writers!! Well done!
